Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in the United States is seeking an IT Operations intern to support day-to-day operating objectives of the assigned area. You’ll gain knowledge of IT Department technologies and procedures, and receive guidance from senior IT team members.

The role involves assisting with enterprise infrastructure tasks, ticket management, and knowledge base documentation, while using FreshService and Atlassian applications to coordinate support activities.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Computer Science or related bachelor’s degree program.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Strong Windows OS background.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-organized and able to work in a team.
• Able to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

• Gain knowledge of IT Department technologies and procedures.
• Receive guidance, training, and mentoring from senior IT Team members.
• Assist with tasks supporting Enterprise Infrastructure and building foundational skills and knowledge.
• Assist with ticket management and resolution.
• Communicate effectively with customers, managers, mentors, and team members on work status; ask relevant questions and listen attentively.
• Utilize FreshService and Atlassian applications to coordinate support activities.
• Participate in infrastructure-related projects; maintain thorough documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Create and update Knowledge Base (KB) documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Computer Science or related bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college/university.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
• Strong Windows OS background.
