Job summary

Douglas County IT is seeking an IT Coordinator to implement, optimize, and maintain enterprise applications and systems. This hands-on role focuses on identity access management, hardware lifecycle deployment, and SaaS automation tools to keep the digital workspace productive.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy scalable solutions, troubleshoot issues, manage user accounts, and document procedures for continuous improvement, while ensuring security standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Technical degree related to Information Technology and two (2) years of experience installing, troubleshooting and maintaining computers and software in an Enterprise environment; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support and assistance to County employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, systems, and network issues; resolving them in a timely manner
• Creates, updates, and manages user accounts and permissions within County systems to ensure secure access for employees.
• Assists with the deployment of County-approved solution packages across various devices and systems to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Ensures that County devices meet security standards by applying updates, security patches, and monitoring compliance with County IT policies.
• Maintains detailed records of support requests, resolutions and system changes. Documents procedures and provides feedback for continuous improvement of IT support services.
• Represents the County with dignity, integrity, and a spirit of cooperation in all relationships with staff and the public.
• Contributes effectively to the accomplishment of team or work unit goals, objectives, and activities.
