Position Summary

As an IT Support Technician I, you will monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks and provide helpdesk support to end users. You will support a variety of desktop applications, maintain network and server operations, and enforce security controls. You will also collaborate with the Sr. Systems Engineer to support network and server infrastructure across North America.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  1. Partner with local site managers to fulfill IT requirements.
  2. Update IT management on site needs.
  3. Handle user support and incident requests via the ServiceDesk application.
  4. Maintain all back-office systems, including servers and networking equipment.
  5. Manage site contracts for services such as telecom and maintenance.
  6. Install and configure hardware and software.
  7. Assist with licensing and engineering support.
  8. Monitor and troubleshoot systems, servers, and networks locally and remotely.
  9. Document procedures and generate reports.
  10. Support application rollouts.
  11. Manage telephone systems and user accounts.
  12. Respond promptly to support requests and prioritize tasks.
  13. Test new technologies and manage IT assets.
  14. Support the Sr. Systems Engineer as needed.

Experience Required

  • At least 1 year of IT experience (Desktop Support, Systems Engineering, Systems Administration).
  • Preferred certifications: Microsoft MCP, MCSA, MCSE; VMware VCP; ITIL.
  • Strong ability to manage priorities and communicate effectively.
  • Experience with Windows 11, Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, VMware, Veeam, networking, and security tools.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Work Environment

This is an on-site role with one flexible remote day per week.

Travel

Some travel within the US (~10%) based on project needs.

Compensation

Hourly pay range: $26.50 - $31.25.
