Job summary

Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide data processing services across the facility. You will perform basic system maintenance, set up new computers, decommission old systems, and troubleshoot issues while collaborating with CFO/Corp IT to ensure security procedures are followed.

The role engages with staff from multiple departments and IT vendors, supporting a wide range of IT tasks and projects as needed in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in applicable field or equivalent experience required.
• Two (2) years related experience required, preferably in a healthcare environment, with a working knowledge of computers and business software application programs and experience with in-house processing systems.
• Must have working knowledge of Windows and MS Office, networking devices (Cisco devices), phone and fax hardware, eFax troubleshooting, and other commonly used applications and protocols.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and servers, including installation, troubleshooting, and networking, knowledge of network administration, VPN, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VOIP systems, and printing hardware.
• Microsoft Access, Exchange, Excel, Word, Outlook with email troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide data processing services to the facility and perform basic computer system maintenance.
• Set up new computers and prepare decommissioned units for removal.
• Troubleshoot computer systems problems and coordinate with CFO/Corp IT on security procedures.
• Interact with staff across departments and IT vendors.
• Assist with IT-related projects as assigned by CFO/Corp IT.
