Job summary

Power Connector, LLC is seeking an IT Support Desk Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve computer hardware, software, and network issues. The role focuses on keeping employees productive by quickly resolving technical problems and supporting IT operations across the company and occasionally its sister company in Stamford, CT.

The successful candidate will have 0–3 years of IT support experience, familiarity with Windows and macOS, and knowledge of Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

0–3 years of IT support or help desk experience.
Experience with Windows and macOS environments.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365/Office Suite and common business applications.
Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.

Responsibilities

Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and update computer systems and applications.
Assist with password resets, account access, and user onboarding/offboarding.
Escalate unresolved issues to support teams.
Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and system changes.
Support printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
Monitor system alerts and perform basic system maintenance.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.
Provide user training and guidance when needed.
Collaborate with vendors and third‑party service providers to resolve issues.
Assist in IT asset inventory and lifecycle management.
Participate in IT projects, technology rollouts, and infrastructure improvements as assigned.
