Overview: The IT Support Technician ensures the installation and the continuity of the operation of IT and telephone equipment (hardware and software) linked to the workstation. They provide maintenance (remote or on-site) and handle incidents at the request of users.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required; pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IS/IT, or equivalent preferred.
• Preferred certifications: ITIL V3, CompTIA+, Cisco Networking.
• Entry-level experience in IT required.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows 10, desktops, laptops, and servers.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, SCCM, Nexthink, networking concepts, desktop security, and Office 2016.
• Customer service skills, autonomy, ability to follow procedures, quick learner, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Identify undocumented procedures and recover them based on incidents/requests.
• Perform on-site IT support activities, including installation, updates, and user testing.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents related to computers, networks, messaging, or telephony.
• Manage operations, assets, and inventory.
• Maintain and secure equipment, administer messaging services, and perform remote maintenance.
• Assist with equipment handling and support datacenter operations, including hardware deployment, diagnostics, and relocations.
• Adhere to safety practices and contribute to health, safety, and environmental programs.
• Travel occasionally within the U.S. and internationally; evening/night hours and extra hours may be required.
