What this role looks like:
Supports day-to-day operations in the Information Technology department related to the implementation, execution, and maintenance of IT end-user devices and administration. Supports the credit union by providing end-user support across all departments. Successful candidates will share Envista's Core Values of Integrity, Empower, Unity, Impact, and Exceed.
This position is located in Topeka, KS and is not eligible for remote work.
The day-to-day:
- Support PCs and laptops across the credit union including hardware and software application support. Troubleshooting abilities across a wide variety of configurations, software, and systems, as well as integrations with various hardware.
- Support end user configurations and provisioning across on-prem and cloud environments for users, groups and systems.
- Assist with supporting and troubleshooting networked equipment and endpoints including switches, printers, UPS battery backups, and various production machines
- Collaboration with internal external stakeholder to resolve client issues. Administer control over end-user hardware and software assets of the Credit Union as well as related supplies and accessories, through maintenance of inventory logs. Maintain detailed documentation.
- Train Envista staff on use of standard PC-based software.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Configuring, installing & supporting all network infrastructure including computers, servers, switches, printers and Office 365.
- Understanding of Windows Server.
- Networking experience switches/routers.
- Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and collaborate across teams.
- Familiarity with financial services or regulated industries preferred but not required.
Education & Experience:
- One year to three years of similar or related experience.
- (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
