Job summary

Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide data processing services for the facility at multiple locations. You will perform basic computer maintenance, set up new devices, and troubleshoot system issues while coordinating with CFO/Corp IT to ensure security procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in applicable field or equivalent experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years related experience in Information Systems/Healthcare environment required.
• Technical certifications (MCSE, CCNA, A+, NET+) preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS and servers, networking, VOIP, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing data processing services to the facility at both locations to include performing basic computer system maintenance, setting up new computers, getting computers that are out of commission ready for removal, troubleshooting computer systems problems, working with CFO/Corp IT to mandate security procedures are followed, and other IT-related tasks/projects as assigned by the CFO/Corp IT. Interacts with a wide variety of personnel in all departments of the company as well as IT vendors.

Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient and residential treatment services for youth ages 5-17, as well as inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services for adults ages 18+. Qualifications

• Associates degree in applicable field or equivalent experience required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Prior experience with system administration or any combination of education, training or experience in the Information Systems environment required.
• Technical certifications (MCSE, CCNA, A+, NET+) preferred
• Two (2) years related experience required, preferably in a healthcare environment, with a working knowledge of computers and business software application programs and experience with in-house processing systems.
• Must have working knowledge of Windows and MS Office, networking devices (Cisco devices), phone and fax hardware, eFax troubleshooting, and other commonly used applications and protocols.
• Knowledge of all versions of Windows operating systems and servers, including installation, troubleshooting, and networking, knowledge of network administration, internet network connectivity troubleshooting, basic AD management, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN, network cabling (CAT 5e, CAT 6, jack terminations), phone installation, and VOIP systems (Avaya IP 500), voice mail configuration, printing (Xerox/HP), computer hardware setup (Dell desktop, laptops, and servers).
• Microsoft Access, Exchange, Excel, Word, Outlook with email troubleshooting, and a variety of other applications.
• Able to troubleshoot issues remotely over the phone/email via Remote Desktop, WebEx, Dameware, and/or DSM.
• At least 21 years of age, required
• Successfully complete a drug test
• Successfully pass a national background check
