Job Summary:

The IT Support Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing computer and infrastructure hardware and software, supporting end-users to ensure maximum access to technology resources. This role contributes to the organization's goals by enabling efficient technology use, thereby supporting Versova's mission to be a leading egg producer.

Essential Job Functions:

• Ensure technology accessibility with current hardware and software
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Provide orientation and training for new and existing technology users
• Maintain an accurate inventory of technology resources
• Monitor and maintain technology to ensure maximum access
• Provide network access and manage accounts and passwords
• Ensure adherence to security protocols and report breaches
• Prepare hardware for disposal following security guidelines
• Perform other related duties as required

Required Qualifications:

• Proficient knowledge of computer hardware, software systems, and programs
• Experience with computer networks, network administration, and installation
• Skills in computer troubleshooting and security
• Understanding of email and internet programs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the agricultural or egg production industry
• Additional certifications in IT security or network administration

The IT Support Technician will work in both office and non-office environments, which may require protective gear such as hairnets and safety glasses. The role involves long hours sitting, occasional lifting, and working in confined spaces or elevated heights. The environment can be noisy and busy, requiring excellent stress and time management skills.
