Job summary

Metro Vein Centers is seeking an hands-on IT Support Technician to join the growing IT team at the New York HQ. This onsite role delivers in-person IT support to corporate staff and clinics as they Open, handling onboarding, device provisioning, and day-1 IT orientation.

You will troubleshoot, image deployments, manage tickets, and collaborate with network and security teams to keep clinic technology running smoothly. Travel up to 80% is required.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of IT support, helpdesk, or desktop support experience.
  • Experience supporting users in a multi-location or clinical environment preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows and/or macOS.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace.
  • Basic understanding of networking: LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS.
  • Experience with device management.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% across clinic locations as required.
  • Being onsite during business/clinic hours.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person IT support to corporate headquarters staff in NY and surrounding New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and other surrounding clinic locations as they open.
  • Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Configure, image, and deploy workstations, laptops, printers, and peripheral equipment.
  • Manage user onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, device provisioning, and day-1 IT orientation.
  • Manage support tickets, maintaining SLA compliance and documentation standards.
  • Assist with MDM enrollment, compliance monitoring, and patch management.
  • Assist with setup and future support for new clinic openings.
  • Conduct user training on IT tools, security awareness, and self-service portal usage.
  • Coordinate with the network and security teams on escalated issues and IT projects.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets.
  • Adhere to HIPAA requirements and internal data security policies.
  • Other related IT support duties as assigned.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on IT Support Technician to join Metro Vein Centers’ growing IT team, based onsite at our New York HQ. This is a new position created to bring dedicated in-person IT support to our NY and surrounding clinic operations.

As the onsite IT resource at HQ, you will be the primary face of IT for corporate staff and a key point of contact for surrounding clinic support. You will handle day-to-day troubleshooting, manage device deployments, support onboarding and offboarding workflows, ensure clinic technology runs without interruption, and contribute to organizational IT projects.

What You’ll Bring

Preferred Skills
  • Experience working in healthcare or regulated environments (HIPAA)
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certification
  • Experience supporting clinic or medical office technology

Compensation for this role varies based on years of experience, skill set, and alignment with position requirements.

Compensation: $60,000 USD - $72,000 USD
