Shift Details

12 HOUR SHIFT

6 PM TO 6 AM

Thursday, Friday, Saturday + Alternating Wednesdays (404)

Job Summary

Provides technical support to end-users for PC, server, hardware, or software applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Interact with suppliers/service providers to ensure tasks are completed.
  2. Monitor asset inventory.
  3. Verify backups, daily checklists, and account maintenance.
  4. Administer tape rotation - backup tapes.
  5. Serve as the point of technical escalation.
  6. Perform periodic license audits.
  7. Create and configure ghost images for site hardware.
  8. Create and image MES and SAP RF Scanners.
  9. Maintain and troubleshoot site PBX.
  10. Provide on-call support.
  11. Identify and purchase hardware using the CER Process.
  12. Administer network hardware (enabling/disabling ports).
  13. Administer file services, print services, and terminal servers.
  14. Document new processes.
  15. Support wireless devices (e.g., BlackBerry).
  16. Follow all procedures around the ISS security policy.
  17. Provide end-user training and technical assistance.
  18. Assist Administrators in rotational duties for network, systems, business systems, and database administration.
  19. Load and verify correct operation of software packages.
  20. Troubleshoot and resolve end-user problems.
  21. Maintain inventory of computer parts and repair logs.
  22. Participate in team knowledge exchange and idea sharing.
  23. Provide regular updates to managers.
  24. Identify ways to reduce costs and improve processes.
  25. Drive continuous improvement through trend analysis and metrics.
  26. Ensure procedures and work instructions are efficient.
  27. Offer ideas for improvement and implement new practices.
  28. Demonstrate a commitment to customer service.
  29. Consult with reporting managers on complex issues.
  30. Establish new measurement systems where possible.
  31. Share knowledge across Jabil facilities.
  32. Perform other duties as assigned.
