Job summary

Eskimo Cold Storage is seeking an IT Support & Systems Generalist in Gainesville, GA. This full-time on-site role blends help desk duties with hands-on warehouse IT support, data work, and Power Platform development.

Occasional temperature-affected environments and cold storage troubleshooting are expected. The position requires on-site presence, strong Windows/Office/Exchange experience, and the ability to manage user accounts, data extraction, and EDI.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting IT in a warehouse or cold storage environment.
• Hybrid IT support and systems role combining desk-side IT with data work.
• On-site presence required with ability to work in adverse conditions (cold storage).
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office, Exchange, and network troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-contact help desk support for end users, hardware repairs, and software/troubleshooting.
• Coordinate workstation support: Windows OS, network, hardware, Office, Exchange, telephony; prioritize requests.
• Support Warehouse Management System (WMS) troubleshooting for end users.
• Manage employee processing: new hires, transfers, terminations.
• Administer Exchange mail accounts and user access per security plans; train users.
• Extract data into Office products and databases; support ad hoc reporting.
• Train users on data extraction and ad hoc reporting.
• Support and troubleshoot EDI connections.
• Leverage Power Platform (Power Apps/Automate/BI) for data/app solutions.
• Basic SQL and database queries.
• Work with Zebra scanning/printing hardware; assist Cisco networking tasks.

IT Support & Systems Analyst

About the Role

Eskimo Cold Storage is seeking an IT Support & Systems Analyst to serve as a first point of contact for our help desk while also supporting warehouse systems, data, and integrations. This is a hybrid IT support and systems role that combines hands-on desktop and hardware support with application data work, employee lifecycle administration, and platform development using Microsoft Power Platform. This position requires on-site presence and, at times, the ability to work in cold storage environments while troubleshooting network issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-contact support for the help line, including end-user support, hardware repairs, and software and printer troubleshooting.
• Coordinate and provide workstation support involving Windows OS, desktop network connectivity, PC hardware, business application installs, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Exchange, and telephony; prioritize and schedule desktop support requests.
• Support the company's Warehouse Management System (WMS), including troubleshooting and end-user assistance.
• Manage employee processing, including new hire setups, job transfers, name changes, and terminations.
• Administer email accounts (Microsoft Exchange) and set up user network accounts based on established security plans; provide user training.
• Extract application data into Microsoft Office products, other databases, and ad hoc reports as needed.
• Train users on data extraction and ad hoc reporting.
• Support, maintain, and troubleshoot EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) connections.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Working knowledge of Zebra scanning and printing hardware.
• Prefer a candidate with Cisco hardware, DHCP, DNS, and firewall administration experience.
• Other duties as deemed necessary.
• This role requires the employee to be on-site to perform their job duties. Off-business hours may be required in the event of upgrades requiring downtime and/or unforeseen critical IT issues.
• Ability to work in adverse conditions when troubleshooting network issues; environment temperatures may be as low as -10°F.
