Job summary

SCI Technology, a Sanmina Company, is seeking an IT support professional in Huntsville, AL to deliver day-to-day technical support for manufacturing and office users. You will ensure IT systems are functional and secure, and act as the bridge between the business and IT infrastructure to resolve issues promptly.

Responsibilities include installing and configuring laptops, troubleshooting networks, and providing timely ticket-based resolutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 0-1 year experience in IT related jobs.
• Ability to work based on goals and ticketing system and deliver on time resolutions.
• Knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, and Windows 11.
• Knowledge of Linux and/or ChromeOS.
• Knowledge of Office (1997, 2003, 2007, and 2010).
• Ability to be a team player in large deployment projects.
• Intermediate Networking knowledge including Ethernet, TCP/IP, NIC setup and connectivity analysis.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal customers.
• Must be able to work in fast pace, high demand environment.
• Applicant must be able to work as a team to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting office and production systems.
• Maintain a high level of customer credibility by providing customer service response and following through on that response.
• Provides on-call customer support, as scheduled by manager.
• Installs, configures and troubleshoots laptops and workstations.
• Ability to troubleshoot network issues.
• Proactively identifies and resolves potential or recurring client issues.
• Reports all potentially systemic problems to Management.
• Provides ownership of customer issues and demonstrates empathy and concern.
