Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT preferred but not required.
• 2+ years experience in a help desk or IT support role.
• Proficiency in PC hardware, Windows OS, and Microsoft 365.
• Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Experience with ITSM/ticketing systems and remote support.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and related software.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues; escalate to senior staff when needed.
• Perform system updates, security patches, and hardware upgrades.
• Troubleshoot basic network issues including connectivity and configuration problems.
• Document support activities, resolutions, and procedures in the knowledge base.
• Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers for issue resolution and enhancements.
• Contribute to IT initiatives, including hardware refreshes and software deployments.
• Provide professional, user-friendly communication and training for end-users.
