Job summary

Golden Valley Health Centers is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide tier-1 assistance to end users and support the GVHC computing environment at our Atwater Admin site in Atwater, CA. The role includes installing and maintaining hardware and software, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with IT department operations.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm, with a strong emphasis on customer service and reliable transportation for site visits.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software and networks.
• Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Install and maintain hardware.
• Install and maintain software.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software problems.
• Provide tier 1 of support to end-users.
• Assist with the general operations of the IT department.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned.
