Job summary

Vance Airscoop is seeking an Information Technology Specialist I to provide Help Desk support for computers, email, Internet access, applications, printers, copiers, scanning services, phones, and audiovisual equipment. The role requires troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and maintaining devices on Eddy County’s network.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 2 years of troubleshooting experience, 4 years on Windows platforms, and a valid NM driver's license with

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Two years of experience with computer systems troubleshooting.
Four years of experience with Windows platforms.
Must possess a valid NM driver’s license and be insurable, with no DWI convictions and no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
Ability to understand and communicate in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Provide Help Desk support for computers, email, Internet access, applications, printers, copiers, scanning services, phones, and audiovisual equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, and maintain computers and peripherals connected to Eddy County’s network.
Attend job-related meetings and training; may work irregular hours and respond to call back requests.
