Job summary

Locke Supply is seeking an IT Help Desk specialist to provide technical support for the desktop computing environment. You will troubleshoot issues, assist with onboarding, and help end-users with ERP and business applications.

You will act as the first line of support, document problems, and escalate when necessary, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining high levels of customer service. This role requires strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience IT Help Desk
• Familiar with ERP systems and business apps
• Knowledge of Windows 7–11 and PC hardware
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Office 365
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
• Comfort training end-users in tech
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Strong organizational skills and detail focus
• Passionate about troubleshooting and support
• Able to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Team-oriented with flexible schedule including evenings/weekends
• Valid Driver’s License with clean record

Responsibilities

• Answer direct calls to the Helpdesk for IT support
• Create support tickets for issues via phone and email
• Be first point of contact for tickets and escalate when needed
• Resolve incidents using documentation and procedures
• Suggest improvements to docs and procedures
• Follow-up with customers on ticket status
• Support associates with ERP and business apps
• Assist with new hire onboarding (equipment, accounts)
• Install or configure software per user roles
• Combine technical expertise with strong customer service
• Troubleshoot email and connectivity issues (Office 365, Outlook)
• Assist with special projects as requested
