Job summary

HDR is seeking an IT Support Specialist to help staff maximize the use of computing resources and to provide advanced troubleshooting for complex IT issues. The role includes desk-side training, asset inventory, and collaboration with systems administrators to support enterprise IT projects.

Ideal candidates will have an associate degree or equivalent experience, 1+ year of technical support, and strong client service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 1 year of technical support of PC, networks and servers.
• Excellent working knowledge of personal computer and peripherals.
• Experience in systems operations and maintenance.
• Working knowledge of Windows 7/10/365 and Windows 2003/2008/2012 Server.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent client service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Apply technology to address business needs and constraints.
• Assist staff to achieve efficient and effective use of computing technology and maximize utilization of computer resources.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting on complicated IT issues.
• Provide desk side training upon request for enterprise applications.
• Assist the IT Support team with inventory management of desktops, laptops, printers, and other assets.
• Understand client business needs and map to technology solutions.
• Work with Systems Administrators on IT infrastructure processes.
