Job Description

IPG Photonics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our growing IT team in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will serve as the main point of contact for inquiries related to our ERP and manufacturing systems, and will contribute to the development of new functionalities. The ideal candidate is diligent, quick to learn new systems, capable of working independently, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

DUTIES

1. Provide 1st and 2nd level support and troubleshooting for production control and traceability platforms.
2. Assist manufacturing and production teams with support and troubleshooting.
3. Record and process support requests via phone, email, or ticket system.
4. Manage user account setup and administration.
5. Monitor, triage, and resolve IT support tickets.
6. Coordinate and validate new modules and features during implementation.
7. Escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
8. Support product upgrades and participate in testing new features.
9. Assist with end-user training and develop documentation and training materials.
10. Create reports to aid business decision-making.
11. Proactively suggest improvements and innovative solutions.

Requirements

1. Minimum 3 years of experience with MS Dynamics NAV 2013 or higher.
2. Experience in a manufacturing environment.
3. Effective communication skills with production and manufacturing teams.
4. Strong customer service skills.
5. Ability to document processes and suggest improvements.
6. Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
8. Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
9. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. Experience with MS Dynamics NAV 2017, .NET, MS SQL, SSRS, Power BI.
3. Support experience in manufacturing processes and systems.
