Job summary

The La Crosse Area Family YMCA is seeking an IT Support Specialist to help support technology, systems, and tools that keep staff, members, volunteers, and programs running smoothly. This full-time role covers hardware, software, network connectivity, and information management across the association.

Responsibilities include providing excellent service to staff and guests, supporting internal networks and applications, and improving processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in computer science, information management, or a related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of related experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting local applications, networks, security practices, and systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Windows 10/11 operating systems preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot computer peripherals, including monitors, keyboards, wireless devices, printers, and related equipment.
  • Knowledge of VOIP phones, cloud controller management, AV systems, and current IT trends is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work positively with staff, members, volunteers, and community partners.

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to help support the technology, systems, and tools that keep our staff, members, volunteers, and programs running smoothly. This full-time position assists with technical support, information management, software applications, network connectivity, hardware and software needs, documentation, and technology inventory across the association.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in computer science, information management, or a related field preferred.

1+ years of related experience preferred.

Experience supporting local applications, networks, security practices, and systems preferred.

Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Windows 10/11 operating systems preferred.

Ability to troubleshoot computer peripherals, including monitors, keyboards, wireless devices, printers, and related equipment.

Knowledge of VOIP phones, cloud controller management, AV systems, and current IT trends is a plus.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work positively with staff, members, volunteers, and community partners.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to technology setup and support.
