Job summary

State Electric Supply Co. is seeking an Account Manager (Outside Sales Representative) to drive growth and deliver exceptional service across our customer base. You will act as a technical troubleshooter and trusted advisor, identifying solutions and coordinating with clients to ensure satisfaction.

The role emphasizes relationship building, product knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple accounts while supporting new application rollouts and ongoing service improvements.

Qualifications

• Certification in Microsoft, Linux, or Cisco is preferred.
• Prior experience in tech support, desktop support, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Windows/Linux/Mac OS.
• Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
• Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Identifying hardware and software solutions for customers.
• Troubleshooting technical issues and diagnosing problems.
• Repairing issues and resolving network problems as needed.
• Installing and configuring hardware and software for clients.
• Providing timely and accurate customer feedback and updates.
• Guiding users through steps to resolve problems and following up on resolutions.
• Replacing or repairing necessary parts and supporting new applications rollout.
• Managing multiple cases concurrently and testing new technologies.
