Job summary

Nanshan America AAT LLC in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to assist the IT Systems Engineer in resolving employee hardware, software and network issues.

You will prepare computers and devices, train employees on installed applications, and coordinate with vendors for repairs, while promoting secure computing.

On-call after hours support and other duties to keep IT operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Information technology, programming, or related field.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists employees with problems with their workstation, printers, mobile devices, and network issues.
• Prepare computers and devices for employees.
• Clear data off previously used devices.
• Work with 3rd party vendors for repairs and replacements.
• Assist in data retrieval and cleaning devices of malicious software.
• Install applications and train employees to use the applications.
• Train employees in information security.
• On call as need to support business needs after hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
