Job summary

Siemens is seeking an end user desktop support professional for 2nd shift (4:00pm–12:00am) to support a large fleet of devices on the manufacturing shop floor. You will spend significant time on the shop floor, addressing deskside issues and deploying updates and new features.

The role focuses on solving technical issues, imaging workstations, and ensuring devices comply with security guidelines while collaborating with a team to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree preferred; HS Diploma or GED acceptable with 3-5 years of enterprise Microsoft support experience.
• Working knowledge of IT/OT networking (TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, etc.).
• Experience building and deploying PC images.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Siemens IT projects deploy without interrupting production.
• Keep IT devices compliant with information security guidelines.
• Assist end users with resolving technical issues.
• Image computers using Siemens-provided images.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support fora large number ofdevices deployed on our manufacturing shop floor. A significant portionof your time will be spent on the shop floor interacting with end users, supporting deskside issues, and deploying updates and new features and functions.

You will make an impact by:

• Ensuringall Siemens ITdirectedprojectsare successfully deployed without interrupting production.
• Ensuringall IT devices are compliant with Information Security and Cyber Security guidelines.
• Assistingend users with resolving technical issues.
• Imagingcomputersutilizingimages provided by Siemens IT.
• Serving as the first point of contact for allshopfloor relatedtechnology issues.

You’llwin us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Atwo-yeartechnical degree is preferred,although a combination of education (HS Diploma or GED equivalency is a minimum requirement) and3-5years’experiencesupporting anenterprise wideMicrosoft environment will be considered.
• Working knowledge of IT/OT Networking i.e. TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, NAT, etc.
• Experience building and deploying PC images
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Candidate is expected to manage his/her time and clearly show incidents are being managed.
• Work well with a team.
• Preferred Certifications: Comptia A+ & Network+ and/or equivalent
• Desire to continuously learn and grow skill set.
• Physical labor isfrequentlyrequired(e.g.,carryPCs, access cables or equipment under a table,frequent trips toshopfloor,ride in lift,etc.)

The pay range for this position is $61,547 - $105,509 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
