Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Fort Worth, TX seeks an experienced technology lead to guide IT initiatives for the new factory build-out and to manage a small team of end-user specialists on the shop floor. You will coordinate with the centralized IT organization, ensure end-user readiness, and serve as the main contact for IT-driven initiatives at the site.

The role requires leadership, end-user support experience, and the ability to collaborate with IT experts.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience supporting information technology.
  • 2+ years’ experience leading a deskside support team is preferred but will also consider an individual contributor that wants to get into leadership.
  • Microsoft Certifications preferred: Modern Desktop Administrator and/or Windows Server Administrator
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, NAT, etc and experience managing at least 1 Microsoft print server.
  • Experience supporting PC’s running a Microsoft operating system.
  • Experience working with Active Directory and experience deploying PC’s to end users.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point).
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company required sponsorship.

  • Communicate with all stake holders.
  • Disseminate relevant information to entire site and provide support for end users when needed.
  • Lead/Direct deskside support employee(s) focused on shop floor support.

  • Document and/or train on repetitive tasks enabling employees to become more self- sufficient.
  • Represent the site for all IT led initiatives

Siemens is starting a new factory in Ft. Worth, Texas. We are seeking an experienced technology lead to collaborate with our centralized IT organization on all IT driven initiatives. This team member will also be responsible for a small team of IT end user
specialists focused on shopfloor IT support. The successful candidate will have experience leading a small team, supporting end users, and collaborating with IT technical experts. Initially, primary focus will include supporting all IT led initiative for the build out of the new factory and ensuring end user support team is prepared to support an increasing number of IT requirements and employees. This individual will be the key point of contact for all IT driven initiatives passed down to the site.

Youwill make an impact by:

You’llwin us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience supporting information technology.

  • Project planning skills – Candidate is expected to manage his/her time and clearly show projects and unplanned incidents are being managed.
  • Work well with a team – Candidate will be part of a high performing team with clear expectation and performance goals. The team is expected to support each other to ensure everyone succeeds.
  • Comfortable presenting to a group of managers, peers, or shopfloor employees.

The pay range for this position is $83,966 - $143,942 annually with a target incentive of 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
