Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States, Washington state, and Vancouver is seeking an entry- to mid-level Help Desk/ Desktop Support specialist. You will resolve tickets, set up new workstations, manage user accounts, and support Microsoft 365 and Windows devices.

The role involves onboarding/offboarding support, documenting issues clearly, and occasional travel between company locations. MSP exposure and relevant certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of help desk, desktop support, or related IT experience.
• Experience with Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Basic Active Directory and networking knowledge.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tickets and priorities.
• Willingness to travel between company locations.
• MSP experience preferred.
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
• Experience with ticketing systems, NinjaRMM, Automate, Azure, SharePoint, or Power Automate preferred.
• Familiarity with AppFolio, Adobe, Zoho, Caliber, or Timeslips preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve help desk tickets for login, software, printer, device, and connectivity issues.
• Set up computers, workstations, software, and equipment for employees.
• Create and disable user accounts, mailboxes, and basic Active Directory access.
• Support Microsoft 365, Windows devices, mobile devices, and business applications.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Maintain clear ticket notes and IT documentation.
• Travel to company locations when an issue cannot be resolved remotely.
