AMETEK, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Intern to assist the Information Technology department with daily operational and technical tasks. Under guidance, you will provide end-user support, deploy computing equipment, assist with asset management, and support infrastructure projects.

This internship offers hands-on experience in enterprise IT operations, cybersecurity awareness, documentation, and technology lifecycle management while developing foundational technical and professional skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed IT-related degree or certificate.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and common desktop software.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and work independently under supervision.

Responsibilities

• End-User Support: assist with basic desktop, laptop, and peripheral support and deploy computing equipment.
• Asset Management: inventory and maintain IT assets and support retirement activities.
• Infrastructure Support: organize network closets, servers, and IT workspaces under supervision.
• Administrative Support: update technical documentation and support materials.
• Project Support: participate in technology deployment and workstation installations.
• Cybersecurity and Compliance: follow policies and complete required cybersecurity training.
