Qualifications

• At least 1 year of teaching experience.
• At least 1 year of IT work experience.
• Experience with curriculum, syllabus development and lesson planning a plus.
• Ability to explain complex topics to diverse learners.
• Ability to connect real-life work scenarios to teaching.
• Experience with student assessment and curriculum evaluation.
• Willingness to stay current with new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom training in an interactive style for entry to mid-level IT careers.
• Provide daily instruction, attendance, tutoring, evaluation, and progress notes.
• Manage student behavior and attendance with a consistent approach.
• Collaborate to evolve curriculum as technologies change.
• Identify student needs and establish individualized achievement plans.
• Maintain and update Salesforce and Canvas with grades and progress.
• Advise students on career tracks and opportunities.
• Refer students for appropriate employment opportunities.
• Prepare and maintain training curricula for approval.
• Coordinate with staff across sites to ensure program integrity.
• Order books and materials for exams ahead of training.
• Participate in professional activities and development.
