Job summary

Alys Beach is seeking an experienced IT Support & Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This role combines daily end-user support with hands-on responsibility for network, server, and identity and access management (IAM) administration. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with Cisco, Meraki, and Okta and a strong problem-solving mindset.

First-day medical benefits and company profit sharing. $1,000 sign-on bonus for this position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience in a business environment.
• Experience administering Cisco/Meraki networks.
• Experience administering Okta in production environment, including SSO and SCIM provisioning.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, networking fundamentals (DNS/DHCP/TCP/IP).
• Ability to learn an existing environment quickly and work independently with minimal training.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
• Flexibility to work weekends and provide IT support during events.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily desktop, laptop, printer, and mobile device support to employees.
• Manage day-to-day administration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Cisco/Meraki networks and connectivity.
• Administer Okta, Entra ID, including user accounts, groups, MFA, and access changes.
• Maintain reliable network operations by investigating outages and coordinating changes.
• Handle identity and access requests, troubleshoot authentication/SSO issues.
• On-site support across offices and facilities.
• Assist with server/infrastructure maintenance and security projects.
• Document resolutions and escalate when appropriate.

This position combines daily end‑user support with hands‑on responsibility for network, server, and identity and access management (IAM) administration. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing Cisco, Meraki, and Okta technologies in a business environment, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the confidence to work independently. We are looking for someone who can quickly become familiar with our environment, take ownership of their responsibilities, and make an immediate contribution while delivering exceptional customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide daily desktop, laptop, printer, mobile device, Microsoft 365, and application support to Alys Beach employees.
• Take responsibility for day-to-day administration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Cisco switches, Meraki networks, and wired/wireless connectivity.
• Administer Okta, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID, including user accounts, groups, application access, MFA, and employee access changes.
• Maintain reliable network operations by investigating outages, resolving connectivity issues, reviewing device status, and coordinating necessary changes.
• Own routine identity and access requests, troubleshoot authentication and SSO issues, and ensure access is assigned and removed appropriately.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding, device deployment, software installation, and equipment inventory.
• Diagnose issues independently, document resolutions, **escalate** when appropriate, and follow through to completion.
• Assist with server and infrastructure maintenance, network upgrades, and security improvement projects.
• Provide responsive, professional on-site support across offices, amenities, and other Alys Beach facilities.

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of hands‑on IT support experience in a business environment, with responsibility for production systems.
• Demonstrated experience administering and troubleshooting Cisco/Meraki networks.
• Demonstrated hands‑on experience administering Okta in a production business environment, including user and group management, application integrations, configuring and maintaining Single Sign‑On (SSO) and SCIM provisioning, managing application access, and troubleshooting authentication and provisioning issues.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, networking fundamentals, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
• Ability to learn an existing environment quickly, manage competing priorities, and work independently with minimal training.
• Strong customer service, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, preferred.
• Flexibility to work weekends and provide IT support during special events and occasions as needed
