iSoftStone, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our team in Bellevue, WA. This is a W2 contract role designed to support infrastructure design, network management, and server/cloud administration.

The role emphasizes on-site IT operations, security, backup/recovery, monitoring, and collaboration with vendors to align IT services with business goals. Mandarin language preferred for collaboration. Strong experience with Windows/Linux servers, AWS/Azure, scripting, and disaster recovery

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable IT infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage server environments (physical, virtual, cloud-based).
• Evaluate, configure, and install hardware components (routers, firewalls, storage).
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize network performance (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewall, switches).
• Ensure network security with firewalls and IDS.
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide solutions promptly.
• Manage Windows and Linux servers and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Perform patch management, updates, and upgrades to systems and applications.
• Automate tasks with scripting (PowerShell, Python).
• Develop and test backup strategies; implement DRP and business continuity solutions.
• Set up system and network monitoring (Nagios, Zabbix) and perform capacity planning.
• Generate reports on system performance, availability, and utilization.
• Implement IT security per ISO 27001, NIST; conduct vulnerability assessments.
• Ensure GDPR, HIPAA compliance.
• Provide Level 2/3 on-site IT support and document procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams; Mandarin preferred.
