Job summary

iSoftStone, Inc. in Carson, CA is seeking an Associate IT Operations Engineer on a part-time W2 contract (16 hours onsite per week). You will provide Tier 1/2 IT support for staff, maintain workplace systems, and assist with CI/CD and DevOps tools for production teams.

The role requires 5+ years in IT operations, strong Windows/macOS, networking knowledge, and experience with on-prem servers/virtualization. Excellent communication with developers and artists is essential.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in IT operations, service desk, or infrastructure support.
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS in production environments.
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• Hands-on experience with on-prem servers or virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools or build systems in game or software environments.
• Experience troubleshooting PC hardware, GPUs, and peripherals.
• Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication with developers, artists, and production teams.
• Ability to prioritize in fast-paced studio environments.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and service-driven.

Responsibilities

• Exposure to on-prem DevOps automation and build systems.
• Exposure to or experience with CI/CD tools and
• Exposure to or experience with on-prem DevOps environments and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Perforce).

Pay Range: $35 to $45/hour
