Job summary

ARCO is seeking an IT Intern to join our Technology Department in Brentwood, MO. You will assist with IT support, cybersecurity tasks, and documentation while gaining hands-on experience in a practical enterprise setting.

The role offers part-time during school and full-time hours in summer, with competitive hourly pay and flexible scheduling. You will work closely with our infrastructure team and contribute to security initiatives and incident response training.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university or technical program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity
• Must have or be enrolled in a server or networking class in college
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Proficient in Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work at the Brentwood, MO office

Responsibilities

• Respond to user IT support requests and tickets
• Maintain technical documentation for systems and software
• Deploy hardware, software, and upgrade existing installations
• Research solutions and improve existing processes
• Assist with account creation and user provisioning
• Provision iOS and Android mobile devices
• Support Security Awareness Training programs
• Respond to cyber incidents and analyze using security tools
• Review suspicious tickets and emails and assess threats
• Generate reports from dashboards to improve security posture
• Provide general support for department tasks and projects
• Participate in Security Incident Response training exercises
