Job summary

Edconic in New York is seeking an IT Support Intern to assist students, faculty, and staff with technical issues. The role reports to the Senior IT Analyst and involves hands-on support for devices, software, and classroom tech.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to build professional relationships while working 10–15 hours per week in a part-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Strong IT concepts, practices, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Proficiency with PC and Mac hardware and software configurations.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and standard business productivity software.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to web applications and technology.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve requests for technical assistance via email, in person, and through the Service Desk System.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to standard software applications, web applications, and desktop hardware.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment in classrooms.
