Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a CFS Intern to gain introductory experience in IT support within Caregiver Field Services. You will learn to resolve basic computer issues, document resolutions, and support existing systems under the guidance of experienced staff.

Daily tasks include updating tickets, prioritizing requests, and learning department workflows while adhering to security policies. This role offers exposure to a healthcare IT environment and related projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong research, organizational, and analytical skills, plus ability to teach users.
• Proven problem-solving in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet, email, and scheduling applications.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, learn to resolve minor computer issues.
• Document notes and resolutions in ITIL ticketing system.
• Regularly update staff on project, incident, and service request status.
• Respond to messages according to priority schedule.
• Learn to support new and existing systems while staying current with technology changes.
• Assist with implementing enterprise security policies.
• Collaborate with team to meet individual and team goals.
• Gain knowledge of department and facility functions.
• Participate in various projects to support department needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
