About the Role:
The IT Support & Network Administrator is responsible for the daily support and troubleshooting for end users as well as have a specialized focus on the overall engineering, build, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of network and related monitoring systems to ensure an acceptable level of performance, reliability, and security. The Administrator will play a key role in evaluating and researching new and existing products, procedures and/or workflow needs associated with network systems for the organization. The role is highly involved in the decision-making process to determine which technologies and strategies will allow us to remain HIPAA compliant while also qualifying for necessary cyber insurance. The role is critical to the overall security and continued compliance of the organization and related systems. The Administrator will be expected to work at an advanced level in all aspects of the network infrastructure while also working to acquire and maintain certification status.
Position is full-time.
Minimum Qualifications:
Working knowledge of firewall technologies, specifically Palo Alto; knowledge of wireless technologies, specifically Aruba Networks; knowledge and use of 802.11 (LAN); knowledge and practical application of Layer 2-4 networking standards (WAN)
