Job summary

ALSAC seeks a Manager, IT Supplier Management to lead the IT supplier governance, strategy, and commercial activities across software, SaaS, cloud, and services. You will partner with IT leadership, Finance, and Legal to optimize spend and risk while delivering business value.

Responsibilities include vendor evaluations, RFx, contract negotiations, renewals, and performance management, plus driving maturity of supplier management across the technology portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years’ experience, including managerial experience.
• Experience developing and managing IT supplier management policies and governance frameworks.
• Experience managing technology suppliers across software, SaaS, cloud, telecom, infrastructure, consulting, and managed services.
• Demonstrated expertise in supplier relationship management and governance.
• Proven success in complex technology contract negotiations with internal/external counsel.
• Experience RFx processes, supplier evaluations, and contract lifecycle activities.
• Experience defining supplier performance metrics, scorecards, and executive reporting.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and spend analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve IT supplier management policies, standards, and governance.
• Lead vendor relationships with technology suppliers and service providers; conduct business reviews.
• Negotiate pricing, SLAs, renewals, and statements of work; manage risk and compliance.
• Monitor spend, forecast inputs, and manage invoices; identify cost savings opportunities.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Security to align contracts with policy and risk controls.
• Lead, coach, and develop the IT Supplier Management team; foster accountability and continuous improvement.
