Job summary

Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) seeks an Information Technology Supervisor 2 to lead technical support within a hospital-based environment. You will coordinate daily IT operations, ensure reliable services for clinical and administrative functions, and collaborate with Central Office IT to meet system requirements.

The role requires 6 1/2 years of IT/PM experience, strong leadership, and strategic planning abilities in a regulated healthcare context.

Qualifications

6 1/2 years of experience in information technology roles or related fields.
Experience with project management functions as defined in standard job series.
Knowledge of multiple programming languages and systems as outlined in the position description.

Responsibilities

Lead staff responsible for technology assistance and provide coaching and performance oversight.
Prioritize daily activities to support hospital operations and ensure reliable access to technology for users.
Oversee deployment, replacement, and tracking of equipment and plan for future technology needs.
Align local IT operations with enterprise systems and communicate service requirements and issues to Central Office IT.
Serve as the main technology contact within the hospital and partner with leadership to address evolving needs.
Suggest process improvements to increase service efficiency and reliability and participate in enterprise-wide initiatives.
