Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an IT Strategy & Planning Intern for the Cranberry Township, PA facility. This paid, full-time hybrid summer role runs May through August 2027, offering hands-on exposure to IT strategy, governance, and project coordination.

You will report to the Strategy & Planning Director and participate in activities that translate strategy into delivery across IT teams, with 85–90% focused on Strategy & Planning and 10–15% exposure to other IT domains.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, or a related technical field
• Completed Sophomore year of college
• Familiarity with enterprise IT or large organizational environments
• Experience creating presentations, reports, or dashboards
• Experience in (or interest in learning) in the following Microsoft technologies: Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Project Online, or Planner

Responsibilities

• Help with IT strategy research, documentation, and executive materials.
• Support project and portfolio tracking, dashboards, and governance activities.
• Help with IT budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Contribute to onboarding, mentorship programs, skills documentation, and learning platform reporting.
• Document processes and support operational excellence initiatives.
• Shadow teams across applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and more.
