Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Summer Intern - I/O Delivery and Process in Cranberry Township, PA. This paid full-time hybrid internship runs May–August 2027, reporting to the I&O Delivery and Process Manager.

You will help improve IT processes, support project delivery, and contribute to continuous improvement projects across the organization, while gaining exposure to project lifecycles and internal documentation tasks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical field.
• Completed Sophomore year of college.

Responsibilities

• Help analyze existing IT processes, workflows, suggest improvements and communicate findings to team leads and managers
• Collect and analyze data to prepare reports and support decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process inefficiencies, ensure compliance with established standards, and suggest improvements
• Help maintain internal documentation, dashboards, and knowledge bases
• Contribute to automation and digital transformation projects
• Shadow IT project managers and process analysts to gain exposure to project lifecycle activities
• Prepare presentations, summaries, and communication materials for management
• Perform administrative tasks related to IT operations and service management

Education

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical field
