Job summary

Fulton County is seeking an Assistant CIO in the Department of Information Technology to manage the overall operations of departmental systems and establish standards, policies, and long-term objectives. Under the Deputy CIO, you will plan, direct, and oversee division-wide support activities with supervision over multiple professional staff.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, six years of IT leadership experience, and a valid Georgia driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the specified fields plus six years IT leadership/supervisory experience.
• Four years of managerial/supervisory experience or equivalent.
• Specialized work experience with ITIL, Six Sigma, or SCRUM preferred.

Responsibilities

• supervise and evaluate staff; manage work schedules and performance appraisals.
• organize and assign work to meet objectives; ensure necessary resources and provide technical guidance.
• lead division planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives; monitor industry trends and partnerships.
• manage publication of online services and department data; ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
