Job summary

The United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund – Office of Investment Management in New York seeks a Technical Consultant for IT Strategy Implementation to help mobilize and baseline the IT strategy.

You will refresh roadmaps, establish intake framework, define target-state architecture, and set up governance across quarters. This role requires coordinating across operations, finance, HR, risk, IT service delivery, and business continuity to deliver the portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Refresh and validate the IT Strategy implementation roadmap, translating objectives into a prioritized portfolio with milestones, dependencies, costs, benefits, and owners.
• Establish a roadmap intake, assessment, and prioritization framework for new projects, enhancements and technology requests, addressing value, architecture fit, security, privacy, and capacity.
• Create an initial enterprise technology landscape and target-state view across applications, data platforms, integrations, identity, automation, and resilience dependencies.
• Establish programme governance with steering arrangements, RAID log, escalation paths, change control, decision rights, reporting standards, and benefits-tracking.
