Job summary

LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead complex, high-priority sourcing initiatives across software, hardware, and IT services.

You will own strategic sourcing projects, leverage market intelligence, analytics, and scenario analysis to drive decisions and maximize supplier value. • 7+ years in procurement, sourcing, or related field with strong emphasis on sourcing, negotiations, and contracting.
• Proven IT sourcing experience: software, hardware, and/or IT services.
• At least 1 year cross-functional team leadership.
• Experience with e-Sourcing tools and processes.
• Experience with contract management and vendor management.
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills; analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT sourcing and procurement projects using RFP, RFQ, RFI, and other sourcing processes.
• Develop comprehensive bid packages and analyze vendor proposals to identify cost, value, and business opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define scope, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate contracts.
• Develop and execute strategic supplier negotiation plans to maximize business value.
• Manage communication and project updates with business stakeholders and support teams.
• Negotiate and manage NDAs, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Build and maintain relationships with senior business stakeholders, including Director-level partners.
• Serve as an escalation point for supplier contract and performance issues.
• Review historical SOWs, KPIs, and operational issues to develop improved contractual requirements.
• Develop supplier scorecards and evaluation models to support sourcing decisions.
• Perform scenario analysis and establish sourcing baselines using analytics and market intelligence.
• Present supplier comparisons, award scenarios, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Partner with Finance and Legal teams throughout sourcing and contracting activities.
• Lead supplier/vendor workshops and negotiations.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across sourcing processes and supplier management.

We are seeking an experienced IT Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead complex, high-priority sourcing initiatives across software, hardware, and IT services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, supplier negotiations, contracting, and cross-functional project leadership.

This role requires someone who can quickly take ownership of strategic sourcing projects and leverage market intelligence, analytics, and scenario analysis to drive business decisions and maximize supplier value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex IT sourcing and procurement projects using RFP, RFQ, RFI, and other sourcing processes.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, sales, finance, or a related field, with strong emphasis on sourcing, negotiations, and contracting.
• Proven experience in IT sourcing, specifically software, hardware, and/or IT services.
• At least 1 year of cross-functional team leadership experience.
• Experience with e-Sourcing tools and processes.
• Experience with contract management and vendor/supplier management.
• Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• MBA, JD, MS, or ME.
• Experience with strategic IT procurement and enterprise technology vendors.
