Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced IT Sourcing professional to lead enterprise supplier relationships and optimize contract negotiations. You will steer RFx processes, renewals, and category strategies for global IT vendors in a financial services setting.

Responsibilities include developing value-driven procurement programs, analyzing spend data, and coordinating with clients to ensure timely, compliant delivery of sourcing projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of related experience in IT sourcing and procurement.
• Minimum of 7 years of IT strategic sourcing and category management at a global organization, preferably in financial services.
• Experience developing RFXs and negotiating hardware, software, telecom/networking, private/public cloud, and IT professional services contracts.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sourcing team’s partnership with business customers to deliver the sourcing strategy.
• Manage supplier relationships to foster strategic partnerships and continuous value delivery.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of strategic sourcing, including RFx, contracting, and downstream procurement workflows.
• Proactively manage renewals to drive savings and mitigate disruptions.
• Participate in value-driven QBRs for key IT vendors.
• Leverage spend and contract data to identify savings and efficiency opportunities.
• Lead sourcing projects addressing financial, risk, and operational goals.
• Develop subject matter expertise through benchmarking, research, and client feedback.
• Negotiate favorable supplier terms, pricing, and contracts aligned with organizational goals.
• Review requests through the centralized intake tool and gather business-client requirements.
• Review supplier proposals and facilitate final vendor selection with customers.
• Initiate and coordinate supplier onboarding and troubleshoot onboarding issues.
• Coordinate with customers regarding request status and expected timelines.
• Work with Sourcing Directors to understand category strategy, requirements, and targets.
• Integrate risk and control processes into daily responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk.

Requirements

• W2 only
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience
• Minimum of 7 years of IT Strategic Sourcing and Category Management experience at a global organization, preferably in financial services
• Experience and proven success developing RFXs and negotiating hardware, software, telecom/networking, private cloud, public cloud, and IT professional services contracts
• Knowledge of enterprise IT vendors and emerging technology providers
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Ability to independently manage competing priorities
• Comfortable with organizational change and transformation
