Everforth Apex Systems is seeking an Associate Director, IT Strategic Sourcing to partner with IT stakeholders and drive end-to-end sourcing strategies across software, hardware, cloud, telecom, and services.

The role leads negotiations, contract management, and category strategy, while managing supplier relationships and ensuring policy compliance to achieve cost savings and risk management objectives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT Strategic Sourcing and Category Management experience.
• Experience negotiating technology-related contracts including software, hardware, cloud services, telecommunications, networking, and professional services.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise technology vendors and emerging technology markets.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and organizational abilities.
• Experience working in regulated environments and managing financial, legal, and operational controls.

Responsibilities

• Partner with IT stakeholders to execute sourcing strategies that support financial, operational, and risk objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive strategic vendor partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, processes, and systems.
• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing activities, including RFx development, contract negotiations, and procurement execution.
• Manage renewals and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
• Conduct vendor business reviews and monitor supplier performance.
• Analyze spend and contract data to drive sourcing decisions and value creation.
• Lead negotiations involving software, hardware, cloud, telecom, networking, and professional services agreements.
• Gather business requirements, evaluate supplier proposals, and facilitate vendor selections.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding and manage issue resolution.
• Communicate project status and timelines to stakeholders.
• Partner with sourcing leadership to execute category strategies and meet business objectives.
