Job summary

Naval Air Systems Command – Fleet Readiness Center Southeast in Jacksonville, FL, seeks an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN/APPSW) to support the FST Engineering Division. The role focuses on planning, designing, developing, integrating, maintaining IT systems, including servers and network components, to solve work processes and deliver reliable IT services.

Qualified applicants will have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 level or equivalent, and possess knowledge of NSIV software

Job description

You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN/APPSW) in the FST ENGINEERING DIV, FST DEPT of Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (Cecil Commerce Center).

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

• Demonstrating experience analyzing, managing, or performing work necessary to plan, design, develop, acquire, document, test, implement, integrate, maintain, or modify systems for solving problems or accomplishing work processes by using information technology (IT) systems such as computers, servers, routers, etc.
• Demonstrating knowledge of NAVAIR (Naval Air Systems Command) Standard IETM (Interactive Electronic Technical Manual) Viewer (NSIV) software.
