Air Combat Command invites applications for a full-time IT position at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA. The role requires working evenings, weekends, and on-call duties with a 35-hour guarantee per week, in support of Ft Eustis IT Department.
Qualified applicants must have a Security+ or equivalent IA certification, be able to obtain a secret clearance, and hold a current driver's license. Military/spouse preferences may apply; ANACI is required for clearance.
This position is a RFT (full-time) Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) position assigned to the Ft Eustis IT (Information Technology) Department on Joint Base Langley-Eustis VA - Ft Eustis location. Position is guaranteed 35 hours per week. This position may be subject to holidays, nights, weekends and on-call work.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Knowledge of operating systems, associated devices, and the interoperability of systems sufficient to install, upgrade, test, troubleshoot, and maintain those systems; to optimize the functionality and performance of systems; and to ensure the availability, integrity, efficiency, and reliability of servers. Ability to communicate factual and procedural information clearly, both orally and in writing. Must have and maintain a current driver's license. Must be able to occasionally work evenings and weekends and be on call. Must be able to lift IT equipment and boxes weighing approximately 50 pounds. Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactorily completed Access National Agency Check with Inquiries (ANACI) for the Automated Information System resulting in a secret security clearance. Must have a Security + or other appropriate IA certification to meet DoD 8570-M requirements. Failure to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance and the proper IA certification may result in removal from this position You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
