Job summary

The Information Technology Specialist at P3 Delivery is responsible for administration, maintenance, security, and support of computer systems, network infrastructure, software applications, and technology equipment used by the Education & Training Section at Travis Air Force Base. This role ensures uninterrupted operations and supports technology improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience supporting information technology systems within the past five years.
• Current CompTIA A+ certification.
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Knowledge of computer and network security principles.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Windows-based systems, hardware, software, and networks.
• Experience with specialized systems such as DLPT and My Learning CDC (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support computer systems, servers, network infrastructure, wireless networks, and technology equipment.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain hardware, software, operating systems, and peripheral devices.
• Provide technical support to users and resolve system, network, software, and equipment issues.
• Maintain system documentation, backup and recovery procedures, inventories, and activity reports.
• Monitor system performance, data integrity, and information security.
• Support technology planning, equipment lifecycle management, and infrastructure improvements.
• Research and recommend hardware, software, and technology solutions.
• Train personnel on software applications, technology tools, and security procedures.
• Maintain accountability for assigned technology assets and equipment inventories.
• Respond to emergency system outages and provide technical support as required.
