Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to support end users, maintain enterprise hardware and software systems, and contribute to the reliability of IT operations. The role is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for those who excel in troubleshooting and customer service in a growing organization.

Responsibilities include supporting facilities in Lanham, MD and Arlington, VA, managing Active Directory and cloud identities, deploying hardware, and maintaining Office 365 apps,

Responsibilities

• Support AST facilities in Lanham, MD, and Arlington, VA.
• Provide hardware and software support for end-user workstations, servers, and mobile devices.
• Manage user accounts in on-premises Active Directory and cloud-based identity platforms, including Entra and 1Password.
• Support and maintain Office 365 applications for users.
• Prepare, deploy, and ship hardware to remote sites and end users.
• Assist with deploying on-premises hardware, including routers, switches, cameras, access points, servers, workstations, monitors, and printers.
• Install, patch, and upgrade software to maintain system security and integrity.
• Troubleshoot communication issues related to cabling, infrastructure components, and badge access systems.
• Create and maintain accurate cabling infrastructure documentation.
• Support the facilities maintenance team when time and availability permit.
• Escalate complex issues to subject matter experts as needed.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
