Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support to employees and executives from request to resolution.
• Maintain clear communication with internal users during troubleshooting.
• Partner with staff to understand needs and recommend tech solutions.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding including hardware and access provisioning.
• Administer Google Workspace: user management, configurations and licensing.
• Support MacOS environment and manage endpoints via MDM.
• Handle device provisioning, inventory and lifecycle management.
• Manage IAM/SSO and SaaS access provisioning.
• Support corporate networking: VPN, DNS, firewalls, wireless connectivity.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and MSPs as needed.
• Support conference rooms and office technology.
• Maintain IT documentation and improve internal IT processes.

Job description

A growing technology company in El Segundo is looking for an IT Specialist to support and manage the day-to-day technology needs of its employees. This is a hands-on, highly service-oriented position where you will work closely with employees, new hires, and executives while taking ownership of internal IT operations.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with an internal customer-service mindset. You should be responsive, collaborative, and proactive about communicating with users throughout the troubleshooting process rather than simply resolving issues behind the scenes.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support to employees and executives, owning issues from initial request through resolution
• Maintain consistent communication with internal users while troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Partner with employees to understand their needs and recommend practical technology solutions
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including hardware, accounts, application access, and permissions
• Administer Google Workspace, including user management, access, configurations, and licensing
• Support a primarily MacOS environment and manage endpoints through MDM
• Handle laptop provisioning, device policies, inventory, and hardware lifecycle
• Manage IAM/SSO, SaaS applications, user permissions, and access provisioning
• Support corporate networking, including wireless, VPN, DNS, firewalls, and connectivity
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when needed
• Support conference rooms and other office technology
• Maintain IT documentation and continuously improve internal IT processes as the organization grows

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on IT experience
• Previous experience supporting employees in a startup or fast-growing technology environment
• Strong MacOS support and administration experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Workspace
• Experience with MDM and endpoint managementExperience managing employee onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning
• Working knowledge of IAM/SSO and corporate networking
• Strong internal customer-service skills with experience supporting both technical and nontechnical employees
• Highly responsive and communicative approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Ability to work collaboratively and consultatively with employees and executives
• Comfortable taking ownership of issues and working independently
• Must be comfortable working fully on-site in El Segundo

Compensation

$120,000–$140,000 base salary + equity
