Offices-to-go is seeking an IT Specialist (INFOSEC/SYSADMIN) for GS-12/13 level responsibilities in the Washington, DC area. You will support biometric capabilities and national crime information systems, evaluate contractor work, and help maintain continuity of operations and disaster recovery plans.

The role requires specialized Federal experience at GS-12/13 levels, the ability to obtain a Secret clearance, and FAC-COR Level III certification.

Duties

The duties and responsibilities for a IT Specialist (INFOSEC/SYSADMIN) GS-2210-12/13 generally include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Supports the operation and modernization of enterprise biometric capabilities and national crime information systems, including JABS, CAS, JBIS, and the Disposition Reporting Service (DRS).
  • Evaluates contractor technical documentation, implementation activities, and operational performance.
  • Supports the development, maintenance, testing, and implementation of continuity of operations, disaster recovery, contingency planning, backup, and restoration capabilities.
  • Evaluates compliance findings and technical vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions to improve the security and resilience of enterprise information systems.
  • Participates in systems integration, interoperability testing, configuration management, and operational improvement initiatives.
Requirements

To qualify for the position of IT Specialist (INFOSEC/SYSADMIN), at GS-2210-12/13, you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below.

Specialized Experience

To qualify for the GS-12 grade level, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable non-Federal experience. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing the following duties:

  • Assist with the administration, maintenance or development of national-level biometric capabilities or law enforcement information systems or programs.
Specialized Experience: To qualify for the GS-13 grade level

You must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable non-Federal experience. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing the following duties:

  • Provides support for the administration, maintenance or development of national-level biometric capabilities or law enforcement information systems or programs.
  • Provides technical guidance and oversight to contractors, managing service level agreements, or driving customer engagement with federal, tribal, state, or local criminal justice entities.
