Job summary
The Christman Company in Lansing, MI is seeking an Information Technology Specialist II to join our employee-owned team. The role focuses on administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune, provisioning devices with Windows Autopilot, and supporting Active Directory and Group Policy across locations.
You will serve as Tier 1/2 escalation, diagnose and resolve moderately complex issues, manage networking gear, support jobsite and regional office setups, mentor junior staff, and help uphold
Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3–5 years of IT experience with hands-on administration of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, AD/GP, and networking devices.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Tier 1/2 escalation responder for all locations company wide.
- Diagnose and resolve moderately complex IT issues across endpoint, identity, collaboration, networking, and supported business applications.
- Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Windows Autopilot.
- Configure and troubleshoot networking equipment (firewalls, switches, access points, Wi‑Fi, VLANs).
- Mentor junior IT Specialists and contribute to service‑improvement efforts.
